We are thrilled to announce the return of the South Suburban Music Society Eisteddfod in 2024. Established in 1938, the competition aims to promote the learning, appreciation and love of music by providing a safe and supportive performance environment for amateur musicians. This year's competition will be held in November, and will host two full weeks of strings, woodwinds, choir and vocals, guitars, brass, ensembles and piano performances.

 

The competition has not run since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other unforeseen circumstances. The immediate past president has passed the baton this year to ourselves, as new directors. We are honoured to present the 82nd South Suburban Music Eisteddfod.
